TÍO PEPE FESTIVAL THE BEST ENOLOGICAL EVENT IN THE WORLD

The Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN) has recognized the Tío Pepe Festival as the Best Wine Tourism Experience at the IV Wine Tourism Awards “Wine Routes of Spain”.

Tío Pepe Festival has been awarded the Best Wine Tourism Experience in the IV Wine Tourism Awards “Wine Routes of Spain”. The jury of this contest, organized by the Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN), has described this festival experience as “a unique and innovative proposal that perfectly combines wine, culture, art, gastronomy and leisure attracting a very broad public that seeks to live a unique wine tourism experience of quality in the winery itself”.

During the last five years, the monumental ensemble of González Byass’ hundred-year old wineries has been the stage for some of the best artists worldwide who have gathered here to offer unique shows. It is a festival experience of music, with great artists and haute cuisine, which offers reduced capacity guaranteeing close proximity to the performer, in a magical atmosphere surrounded by sherry wine casks and vine-shaded streets.

Throughout its five editions, Tío Pepe Festival has become an event that transcends the borders of mere show becoming a unique experience. It is in this double direction – presence of great international artists and plural experience linked to the winery as a wine tourism, gastronomic and cultural space – that the Tío Pepe Festival has gained its full meaning as a singular and unique program in the summer holiday calendar.
